Hooray for Books! Emergent Reader

Books are wonderful. Librarians and teachers can use this Hooray for Books! emergent reader to reinforce the benefits of books and reading. It could also be used as a short introduction to the library.

Librarians and teachers can also sing the words with students. The words of the reader can be sung to: "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." You could sing this song before your library time each week (or once you get to the library).
