Lines Emergent Reader

Use this Lines Emergent Reader to introduce your student to the mathematical concept of direction.

Each page in this reader gives your student a line to trace (with a crayon or a finger!) and uses directional words to indicate which way to go (up, down, left, right, etc.).

You could add some manipulatives to this (yarn, pipe cleaners, or Wikki Stix) for more "tracing" fun.

You have three options for differentiated learning:

• Option #1: The words already printed for the student with black and white images.
• Option #2: Traceable words for the student with black and white images.
• Option #3: The final option has printed words with colored images.
